This is How to Crush Your Goals Using Powersheets
How many times have you tried setting goals that never quite panned out? Have you ever started something that you really wanted to do, only to get overwhelmed or discouraged and eventually give up? (I’m raising both of my hands over here!) I can’t even begin to tell you all of the fun things I dreamed of doing and just didn’t know how to get from point A to point B.
Friend-to-friend, I am here to tell you that being a really good “Starter” doesn’t have to be your identity. I’ve purchased multiple planners in the past and nothing has ever worked for me the way that this has! If I told you that there is not only a process but a product to help you take all of those things that are in your head and make them achievable, would you be interested? Keep reading to see how to crush your goals using Powersheets.
What are Powersheets?
It is an all-encompassing system that helps you discover meaningful goals and create an action plan to achieve them. Powersheets are broken down into 3 parts: Prep Work, Goals, and Tending lists.
Prep work: 33 pages of engaging questions to help you evaluate who you are, what is important to you, and what you should be focusing on.
Goals: This is where you create some action plans around the goals that you have discovered. You will determine your “why” here. Then you will even commit to how you will celebrate once you make progress on or complete each goal!
Tending lists: You have a tending list for each month. This list is a breakdown of your monthly, weekly, and daily goals. Each goal typically ties to one of your main goals to help you make progress on them!
Just a few things I have made progress on in just 3 months of using Powersheets: Intentional time with God, reading 1 book per month, working on my blog, saving money, eating and exercising/losing 15 lbs, and making time for self-care.
I feel strongly that I have seen success using Powersheets because I genuinely get excited about using them. It always makes things a little easier when you actually WANT to use a product. There are inspiring quotes, color coding, cute stickers, thought-provoking monthly reviews, and so on to really get you pumped about your goals.
This is how to crush your goals using Powersheets:
1 Prepare well
Schedule time every month to organize your tending list. Cultivate What Matters does this on the last Friday of every month that they’ve dubbed Powersheets Prep Day. The most important thing here is that you choose what works for you.
2 Keep up with it by making it visible
This tip is a necessity for me and the secret to meeting my goals. I like to keep my tending list on my refrigerator. In doing this, I always walk by it and get to glance at my goals. I keep a pen nearby so I can mark off what I’ve been working on! Some women like to keep them on their nightstand so they see it before they go to bed.
There have still been days where I forgot to mark off my daily goals and whether or not I did them. For those days, I usually write in the word GRACE because #progressoverperfection, which is what this company is all about.
3 Take advantage of Wildcard pages
When you purchase Powersheets, the company gives you access to use “Wildcard pages” you can print them out and use some tending tape to tape them into your Powersheets. They help with breaking down your goals further or allowing you to prepare well in other areas of your life that aren’t necessarily part of your goals.
some of the wildcard pages include an exercise plan, meal plan, blank monthly calendar, monthly budget, reading list, organization, etc.
Optional Recommendation: Take it or leave it, but I would opt to use the accessories that pair with Powersheets! Their bundle just makes it that much more fun to use, but you don’t NEED it to enjoy Powersheets on their own.
That’s it for now! I could go on about the different reasons why Powersheets has changed my world, but I will leave you with this: It can make all the difference for you too! 2019 Powersheets will be available to order on October 24, 2018, and are only sold online! I’m counting down the days!
